Wintersaber Rep & Battlegrounds
Not much to write about today thanks to reputation grinding. Today I did my dailies then moved on to work at the Wintersaber Trainers faction. [Rampaging Giants] for example.
In the evening, I was grouped with some friends and we queued for Arathi Basin battlegrounds. I managed to grab the achievement [Disgracin' The Basin] while we killed…
Side note: The guild is not doing well on attendance and such — We did not get the chance to do any 25mans this week and even our 10man only ran one night sadly. Hoping for change soon…
The Guild S2E1 – Video
Garona was down for a while today, so I leave you with this:

On the Season Two premiere episode – Codex adjusts to Zaboo as a house-guest while the rest of The Guild finds a valuable object in the game.

Champion Duties
Just like a loyal solider, I’ve been keeping up with the Argent Tournament daily quests. Aside from about three weeks, my main has been doing his questing for the daily handful of [Champion's Seal]. But he’s not alone, other characters of mine stay logged out in Icecrown for a reason.
Ever since the mention of new rewards in patch 3.2 I’ve been keeping pace with questing for my seals. Prior to that announcement I was taking a small break from the daily quests. However, now I’m doing all the Argent dailies on all three of my level 80 characters. I’ll just use my alts to buy the Heirlooms Chest pieces (like for my Mage alt), then just buy pets and send them to my main or sell on the AuctionHouse.
By using my alt’s seals to grab the non-BindonPickup items, I can focus on buying up all the mounts on my main. Does it take hours to do those quests on three characters every day? Yes, but at least both of my alts can have the Crusader title soon with just a little push in the Alliance-cities faction department. Completing some low level quests for each faction, along with [Champion's Writs] will be more then enough to finish off Exalted factions needed for the final achievement.
One thing I do plan to purchase, as soon as the patch is released, is the upgrade for my [Argent Squire] pet. He’ll then be able to act as a banker, merchant or as a mailbox every four hours (cooldown) for me. There is a nice Youtube video posted from the PTR on the upgraded squire.
I’m feeling the anticipation for this patch (pretty much like every other major patch) as usual. With the current news, I’d guess that the release will be within a month, especially if Blizzard plans on releasing a new WoW expansion every year. New content, achievements, dungeons, and phatty loots.
Dualboxing the Simple Way
“Multiboxing is a term used to denote one user playing multiple accounts simultaneously.”
The wonderful world of Multiboxing is not for the faint of heart. However, running two WoW clients on the same PC with two monitors is much more manageable!
A friend of mine is kind enough to loan me his DeathKnight (or any character) while he’s AFK. So I have to log on and abuse…erm–use his DK to clear some Stockades with my latest alt: Mage! I’ve grinded my 3rd alt from level 15 up to 24 (although I did quest for about one level in between).
My computer setup is simple (not a true multibox setup in my opinion):
Two monitors – Primary – 23” Widescreen LCD at 1920x1080 & Secondary – 19” Widescreen LCD at 1440x900. Running in the center is my PC which is equipped with a AMD Phenom quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM and a GeForce 9800 GT 1024MB graphics card. It’s not the most powerful thing out there but it definitely gets the job done.
If I had a second WoW account and wanted to truly multibox (using multiple PCs) then I have the software and WoW.com articles at my disposal to do so — That day has not yet come.
Until then, I’ll run two (or more) WoW clients on the same PC and use my two kick ass monitors to back me up for a full view on both games at all times.

Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince
Albus Dumbledore: “You must be wondering why I brought you here.”
Harry Potter: “Actually sir, after all these years I just sort of go with it.”
Yeah, I had to go see Harry Potter on opening day — a midnight release to be exact. I’m not the only crazy one though, two friends came with to our local theater for a 12:15am showing. The theater we go to has a total of 17 screens and all 17 were open / sold out!
As usual, the film left some things out or altered minor details but overall it was well done for the 2hour 30minute time-frame. I give it 9 out of 10 — despite any changes or lack of certain scenes!

If you read WoW Insider then you’ve probably seen this video but I figured it was worth posting here too. Although the music is a little more chopped up then I like, it’s still a good video.
Side note: If the theater does not sell out then I’ll be going to a Midnight release of Harry Potter! Expect a review later.

Magtheridon 4-Man
A friend and fellow guildie of mine is always out looking for old world bosses like Doom Lord Kazzak & Doomwalker.
Why might you ask? So he can 2-4 man them for the gold and epic BoEs they drop.
Well, I joined him for a Magtheridon gold run. Yeah — Mag is not a world boss, but he’ll do!
We originally tried this with his Shaman Healer, our Paladin Tank friend and my Warlock for a 3-man attempt. It was a little messy, so I switched to my DeathKnight alt — he needed the achievement anyways. Even with my plate wearing / warlock wannabe skills, it was not enough but just barely.
So we pulled in another friend, a Boomkin to help me DPS the Channelers down on the fight (which I also had to pull out of the group from our tank and hold as we kill — must interrupt the heals!) After he joined it went much smoother and we finished off the last two Channelers as he broke his chains and entered the next phase. Once the Channelers are down, the fight is a cakewalk to complete — what would have wiped us at 70 only tickles now.
The fight took almost 11 minutes with our setup: Tankadin, Boomkin, RestoShaman, UnholyDK (my alt) — 118 Gold looted to each of us and my DK won the bag drop.
Brüno – Movie
I’m pretty much back to normal weekends which includes (almost weekly) theater visit with friends.
Bruno was outrageous like expected but we all enjoyed it (I did more than Borat).

PvP Time?
Currently, my main is sitting at 630 achievements (6735 pts) which is not too bad.. but like any other addict, I want more! My friend Arcticsky has the most points in the guild (I’m #2) and she is ahead of me by a good 1100+ point lead.
I think it’s time to start on those PvP achievements… like [Battlemaster]! I did accomplish The Exalted after-all, many months ago. That took me back to finish many classic WoW factions.
Hey, dream big — right? I think I’ll go for Loremaster before I would Battlemaster, but I do plan to start working on many PvP achievements to bump my rank/points up some.
I know many guildies are interested in doing some pre-made PvP battleground raids. I’ll just have to get into that with them — here I come hordies…

Most folks who play WoW have probably heard about wowTwitter by now. Well, you can find my characters online at wowTwitter!
I’ll try to use this service but one major reason for my registration to the site can be credited to the Screenshot Contest that WoWInsider posted an article about. I hope to win! Just need to find that perfect shot, like everyone else is trying to do…
